"We want people to come back time and time again having really enjoyed their stay. Built in 1928 Bees Knees Guest House still retains many of its original features including the original tiled fire place in the guest lounge where you can sit and enjoy a real fire during the winter months. All rooms are En-suite and come with above average room facilities including a fridge for fresh milk, supplied daily and all the usual facilities and services you would expect. All rooms are centrally heated with individual thermostatic controls for guest comfort , double glazed. Decorated and furnished to a high specification, guests can enjoy,period and antique furniture within the property.
    Just off the guest lounge is the Conservatory dining room which overlooks the garden where guests can enjoy the peace and quiet of a sunny afternoon. All our foods are locally sourced, Orgainc where possible and seasonal. We serve only rare or traditional breed meats and make our own breakfast sausages which are a real hit with our guests. All foods are freshly prepared and cooked on the day they are going to be eaten as we shop daily for the ingredients we require. We also smoke locally caught herrings and serve them as part of our breakfast menu. Guests are also treated to home made cakes or biscuits in their rooms as an added comfort. Special dietary requirements including diabetics, Celiacs and vegetarians are specially welcome.Situated in Branksome, a short car Journey from the centre of Poole and Bournemouth and only an 10 minute drive,from the famous Sandbanks Penninsular and Brownsea Island. Our nearest tourist attractions are Compton Acres Gardens, Tower Park leisure Park, Bowl Plex ten pin bowling, and of course the Blue Flag Award winning beaches of Sandbanks, Branksome Chimes, Durley Chimes and Poole Harbour. There is parking for guests avaiable at the front of the property.We are on the main through road between Bournemouth and Poole and easily accessible by the M25. M3. M27 motorways. National Express coaches stop and pick up passengers on Ashley Road and we are linked to British Rail Waterloo Train station via Bournemouth. For further information or to book a room please do not hesitate to contact us. Sorry we can not take children under the age of 18 as we are a licensed guest house. No pets accept guide dogs as we have two cats and please be aware that we have limited disabled access due to the guest rooms being on the first floor and that we are situated down quiet a steep hill.
