  • The Ball HouseA friendly traditional public house with a reputation for both quality food and beer at a reasonable price.  There is a full menu available lunchtimes (11.30am - 2.00pm) and evenings (6.00pm - 9.00pm) every day of the week except Sundays when grills are not offered at lunchtime as the attention turns to a choice of at least 2 roasted meats (£6.75 per head) with all of the traditional seasonal vegetables and trimmings.Each day the pub offers a very popular lunchtime special at £4.95.  Examples include homemade shortcrust pies, cottage pie, liver and onions, Lincolnshire sausages, Braised steak in port and brandy and Country chicken.Opening hours: 11.30am - 3.00pm and 6.00pm - 11.00pm every day except Christmas Day when the pub is closed in the evening.
