  • We have an Eighteenth century cottage offering bed and breakfast in a quiet through lane in Byfield.  We have one large, double/family, room in the original part of our house, with original "A Frame" beam and feature fire place, one comfortable double room and one small but comfortable single room, both sharing our reproduction victorian bathroom with roll top bath ( ideal for a long soak after a busy day)We pride ourselves in offering a special breakfast consisting of home made meusli, breakfast cereal, yogurt or fresh fruit, followed by a full english breakfast or kippers and scrambled eggs, home made bread toasted and home made jams, together with tea or coffee and two fresh juices.We have people staying who are visiting friends, going to a wedding or party, business people working in the area, fishermen going to the reservior, locksmiths visiting the locksmiths college in Woodford, people working with horses in the area, and people visiting the Silverstone circuit.  Many of our customers return to us on a regular basis.  Prices range from £38 for a single room £65 for a double room, but please telephone for further prices and for available dates.We look forward to welcoming you to our home.Linda.
