  • First established in 1923 by members of the great war assoc, the club now trades as The Comrades Club. The club itself is a non-profit making business run by a committee of volunters for the sole use and purpose of its members. We activley seek new members and guests with a warm and friendly welcome. The club has many various teams including darts, dominoes, skittles and pool, plus we are the base for many local groups such as the Derbyshire Beekeepers and Johnsons choir.Activities within the club include full size heated bed snooker table, 2 x match pool tables, skittle alley, amusment games for adults and children, regular bingo and quiz nights. We also have FREE top quality live entertainment at weekends (ring for details), these include tribute acts such as Meatloaf, Shania Twain and Freddie Mercury etc etcNew for 2008 we have The ultimate sports fans dream! - Over 20 dedicated sports channels including Sky, Setanta etc - shown on two screens and occasional projector screen. Plus we now have the facility to show events that would have normaly clashed!We have a fantastic range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks available, including cask conditioned traditional ales (two different guest ales every week).Hope to see you soon!
