Further Description
BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY COTTAGEHirons Farm and BarnsHirons Farmhouse and Barns nestle in the middle of Cherington. Hirons was once a working farm with many acres, and has more recently been run as a riding school. The main house is now our home and we try and retain a farmyard feel with chickens roaming the yard together with a couple of horses we stable. At certain times of the year we have sheep and their spring lambs in the paddocks. It is certainly a lovely time of year with daffodils and crocuses. We are delighted to have guests stay in the Barn which is totally detached and a great place to use as a base for touring, walking or even rambling the surrounding countryside. We hope you enjoy your stay and we are never too far if you need us.FeaturesAvailable for up to 4 guests One bedroom cottage & sofa bed Fitted kitchen Retaining original features Middle of the village location Welcome pack by pre-order & payment Parking area on site Hirons BarnThis delightfully renovated barn is in a peaceful secluded location on a small farm close to Moreton in Marsh and Shipston on Stour. It was converted from former stables into a comfortable and cosy single bedroom cottage, retaining character and charm, including open beams and exposed timbers. The downstairs of the barn is open plan with a well equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge. The style is contemporary with a mix of Cotswold stone and modern day fittings and furniture. There are large French windows opening onto a private terrace suitable for barbecues and summer dining. Upstairs is the bedroom and shower room with stripped pine floorboards, double bed, cupboards and plenty of storage space for your stay. The bedroom has unspoilt views of the hills and surrounding area and overlooks the stable yard.
