  •  I was born in Bridport, leaving in 1959 to join the Metropolitan Police.  I worked for the Police until 2001 when I retired to Axminster.   My talk is entitled "The History of the East End of London" and comprises of a 45 minute talk covering all the historical events places and people who have made their name in the Whitechapel, Stepney and Wapping areas.  I supply a map of the area to enlighten my audience of the area and have a large collection of memorabilia which I display for perusal.Further details can be supplied upon application through my eMail address or by phone.
