  • The Volunteer Canteen is a traditional British pub offering a warm welcome to locals and those from further afield.The pub offers a range of regular beverages including well kept cask ales together with a frequently revised guest beer or two.The public bar is equipped with a number of screens on which all major sporting events can be seen, whilst the lounge bar retains a more traditional feel and even offere table service.During the summer months, a barbeque is available in the beer garden, the profits from which are donated to charity.The pub also plays host to a number of clubs and societies - including a regular 5-a-side football squad, a popular and well run golf society and a ladies dining society - The Witches of East Street!Mark & Nicola look forward to welcoming you to 'The Volly'!
