  • Elaine and Louis arrived in Buckinghamshire in April 2007,and have been hard working to bring The Black Cat back to it's former glory, a traditional pub serving good real ales and great food in a friendly atmosphere.In this time they have achieved Cask Marque accredited real ales, have become Runners-up in the "country Pub" section of CAMRA Pubs of the Year 2010, and have gained entry into The Good Beer Guide 2011 and for 2012.They have also awarded 5 stars in the Chiltern 'Scores on the doors'scoring system by The Chiltern District Council for Health & Hygiene standards in the kitchen.

    Full English Breakfasts are served from 9o'clock Mon-Saturday.Sunday Roasts are proving to be so popular that bookings are strongly advisable, Home made Roast dinner with Roast and new potattoes,a selection of locally sourced vegetables and yorkshire pudding for only £7.95. The function room is also available for hire for parties, meetings etc with free WIFI.We ARE different, come and try us.
