Further Description
The Tin House has a double bedroom, and a bedroom with twin bunks and a zed bed. (sleeps up to 5). It has a living/dining room with TV, video, radio/CD/MP3 player. A kitchen with electric cooker, refrigerator and microwave, a shower room with loo and washbasin. The property is strictly non-smoking, and request that any guests who smoke, to do so outside. Parking is available in two free car parks in the village, both of which are just a few minutes walk (5 minutes- just a little further than the journey to the pub!) DOGS are welcome if they are well behaved and have their own bedding. The Tin House would not be suitable for the disabled, as the approach is up some steps, It is a full of character, and ‘quirky’ and enjoys a hillside location. It is an unusual construction, timber framed and clad in iron and slate. It is typical of a number of buildings in this area, built in 1908. The interior is largely tongue and groove panelling and the living room in particular, is in a seaside theme, making it fun to stay in. It is very child friendly, with a selection of children’s videos and books. There are also plenty of books for adults and games. There is a garden with picnic table and a bench and parasol for outside dining, and a sea view. You can sit outside and enjoy the evening, and see the sunset over the sea, which is often spectacular. The village has a village shop, a post office, and also Llwyngwril Gallery, which serves what is probably the best coffee in the county, in the tearoom, and sell postcards and gifts, as well as a wide variety of works of Art, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, wood, books and much more. There is also a pub, which is just 3-5 minutes walk down the hill. I can provide bed linen and if required, towels, tea towels etc, to save you carrying them, for a further fee of £15. If you are a couple only using one bed, the charge would be just £10This will added to your booking figure. I will provide a complimentary welcome pack which will include Welsh Teabags, locally made homemade jam, 6 local free range eggs, a pint of milk, and a freshly baked loaf (local).
