Further Description
  • Prysgoed is bed and breakfast accommodation run from a family home ideally situated for those energetic types that have an abundance of energy for walking or cycling over the beautiful hills surrounding the Cader Idris mountain or those less energetic that would like to appreciate the scenery from the comfort of a garden chair or whilst sipping some refreshment from the local pub or café. There are great fishing spots along the coast, known for their Bass, Wrays, Flatfish and Mackerel. There is also a championship Golf course nearby. The property lies in the quiet, pretty village of Llwyngwril nestling in the southern part of the Snowdonia National Park on the West coast of Wales. It is half way between the lovely town of Dolgellau and the seaside town of Tywyn. Fairbourne is just 2 miles away and boasts a quiet extensive sandy beach, and Barmouth is just 15 miles away, providing all the seaside entertainment you could need. The Cader Idris Mountain range is local and the property is in an ideal location for hill walking, sightseeing and cycling with magnificent views across cardigan bay and the Llyn Peninsular. There are two very good cafe's and a pub serving meals in the village. There is also an Art Gallery promoting local arts and crafts which is well worth a visit and just a few steps away. They serve delicious teas, superb coffees (the best in town!), gateaux and the most delicious creamy Welsh ice-cream. It is a perfect opportunity to sit and enjoy the atmosphere of the gallery and to reflect on which works of art to buy! This facility also hosts concerts during the summer season. We have 2 good sized rooms, 1 double and 1 twin/double. They are both very comfortable and newly decorated with new beds and furniture. Both rooms have a tv/dvd, and a hairdryer provided. The bathroom is recently fitted with a double sized shower, a double ended roll top bath and 2 handbasins. This is a very spacious and luxurious room. All bed linen, towels and robes are provided and changed regularly. Tea and coffee making facilities are in both rooms and refreshed daily. The dining room is comfortably furnished and breakfast will be cooked to order. Any special requirements will be addressed on request and packed lunches can be provided.Because we have only 2 rooms we are able to provide a personal service.visit our website for full details. www.prysgoed.co.uk or email info@prysgoed.co.uk for enquiries.
