  • Carnforth Station has been extensively restored and was re-opened in October 2003.  It is now the site of an award-winning Visitor Centre housing the "Brief Encounter" Refreshment Room, fascinating exhibitions, gift shop and specialist retailers.  The Friends of Carnforth Station are also on hand to provide guided tours. Admission is FREE although donations are gratefully received as Carnforth Station Trust is a registered charity.Open daily 10am-4pm (closed Mondays October to Easter)
