Further Description
  • A wonderful working windmill on the edge of the beautiful Fens in rural Norfolk. Built in 1835 and fully restored to working condition it now produces flour for our own tearoom made bread and cakes or for sale in our fully stocked gift shop. Visitors can take a tour up to the top of the windmill, wander round our visitor centre, view a dvd on the history of English windmills and taste the delights of our home made bread and cakes in the tearoom or picnic areas.Tours can be arranged for coach parties, school parties and clubs. Book a cream tea after your tour or take part in the many events throughout the year.Holiday accomodation is also available in the old millers house, tastefully converted into two holiday cottages. Both Wheat and Barley cottages have period features, modern kitchens and bathrooms and private garden and off road parking. For more details on the windmill, tours or holiday accomodation, please call us.
