Further Description
  • The Coal Exchange is a traditional pub in the heart of Emsworth next to the public car park and close to the harbour. All the staff pride themselves on our good quality, award winning Real Ales and Homemade Food. We are recognised by CAMRA in their Good Beer Guide. The pub has a warm cosy atmosphere helped by our real log fires in the winter. Our sheltered beer garden is a sun trap in the summer that has plenty of seating to drink or dine 'Alfresco'.Next time you are in Emsworth pop in and see us.  Enjoy a tasty meal with a good pint or a glass of wine and join in the lively conversation with our "locals". Formerly a "Gales" pub, now a part of the Fullers Smith & Turner Group, Fullers have retained the Gales Brand and several of their finest beers. Currently we keep Butser and HSB (Horndean Special Brew). In addition we now serve Fuller's London Pride, the UK's most popular cask bitter, and ESB (Extra Strong Bitter). The Coal Exchange was the winner of the Pb of the Year 2005 -  Jim Fox Memorial Trophy .We serve a wide range of hot and cold meals, baked potatoes and sandwiches every lunch time.On Tuesday evenings we have our popular Curry Nights.
