  • A traditional style farmhouse on a working farm situated in the lovely village of Ashmansworth approx 750ft above sea level with far reaching views.  Ideal for walks along the ancient Ridgeway and a stone’s throw from the magnificent Highclere Castle.The Cathedral Cities of Oxford, Winchester, and Salisbury are within easy reach and several good country pubs serving evening meals are nearby Enjoy a relaxing night stay in peaceful surroundings and a traditional English breakfast served in our new conservatory overlooking the garden. Taste fresh eggs collected daily from our own chickens and when available, freshly picked berries with your cereal.  We have a large double and family bedroom, both rooms are newly refurbished and decorated. Tea/coffee-making facilities, television - private shower room.                                           Rates:  Double Room - £50 per nightFamily Room - £60 per night (2 + 1 child)(accommodation is flexible - please enquire)(no smoking) We are situated off the A343 Newbury to Andover road. From Newbury take the right hand turning by the Yew Tree Inn (approx 2 miles out of Highclere Village).  Ashmansworth is signposted here.  Proceed up the hill into the village keeping to the left of the War Memorial and proceeding past Steele’s Farm on the right.  Alexander Farm turning is on the left-hand side just past the large wooden barn.
