In addition to its delightful character and location, over the past ten years Philip and Lauren Davison and their team have gained an outstanding reputation for the standard of food and service offered. This ranges from a freshly baked baguette through to the excellent and interesting seasonal restaurant menu prepared with real care and served within the relaxing atmosphere of a charming Country Pub. Open  for  food  Lunch & Evening Tuesday to Saturday & on a Sunday for a roast lunch & garden menu On Tuesday to Saturday Lunchtimes also offered is a “Pub Lunch blackboard” with a selection of freshly prepared dishes all at just £7.95 and also a choice of freshly baked Baguettes for around a £5.00. For “Sunday lunch” we offer you a quality three course menu, this has a selection of dishes at each course, but always includes traditional Roast Beef & Yorkshire pudding. You can also dine in the garden on a Sunday from our garden menu or Barbeque platter.  Also offered is a great “Kool Kids Menu” these dishes will keep the kids happy, but because we make things such as our own chicken nuggets from fresh chicken breast, they are certainly more healthy than the run of the mill factory made items our children normally get served.
