  • We are renowned for our home produced Longhorn beef and rare breed lamb. Our farm, at Tetford in the Heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds lies on the Greenwich Meridian Line and whilst not registered Organic, all our animals are totally naturally reared producing safe, healthy meats from British Breeds with a quality and flavour rarely seen these days. To achieve the very best flavour, tenderness and succulence all our beef carcasses are hung for a minimum of three weeks. For lamb, hanging time is at least a week. We are constantly adding to our range of specialities. We have ready meals made using our Longhorn beef and lamb. We offer a variety of different flavours of our exclusive handmade speciality beef sausages. (Beef & Guinness, Beef Thyme & Wholegrain Mustard, Beef & Colman's, Beef Port and Red Onion, Beef & Sweet Chilli etc.) Our Longhorn Chargrill Beefburgers are a "must" for the BBQ. We also have Lamb Apricot & Rosemary sausages, Gloucestershire Old Spot Pork pear & stilton sausages, and our own Lincolnshire Sausages made using Gloucestershire Old Spot pork. We also stock local free range eggs, home made cakes, Lincolnshire Honey, Award winning local preserves and chutneys from Scott’s Fruits, smoked and plain traditionally dry cured bacon, Lincolnshire Stuffed Chine, haslets and pork pies, Lowna Dairies goat cheeses,  delicious locally produced Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese, Lincolnshire Plum Bread, Dennett's award winning Dairy Ice Cream. Our full range can be viewed on our website which is regularly updated. Our range is offered subject to availability and season and may, at times, be frozen. Our normal opening times are Thursday 10 am to 7 pm, Friday and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm.
