  • Little Gems Children Nursery caring for children from 3 months to 5 years. We have caring qualified and experienced staff ready to offer a hug, a helping hand or to stretch your childs imagination and learning. Our staff have continous profesional development� with regualar training and we have the Investors in People quality award.We are situated in Fore Street, North Petherton. We are open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and offer full time, part time and flexable sessions. We have three sets of rooms for our children. Our Explorers room for babies from 3 months to 18 months is very homely and we have seperate sleep room for those sleepy times of day. Our Movers and Grovers rooms are for children from 18 months to 2 1/2 years they have their main play area and also a messy room for sensory and creative play. Our�Foundation rooms�are for children from 2 1/2 years to school age, these rooms provide for various activities, creative, sensory, mark making, phyiscal play, I.T. reading and sharing of books, role play to name just a few. We offer two pre school educational sessions per day and can accept educational grants allowing your child 5 free 2 1/2 hours sessions per week. We have a out door play area� where we can offer a full range of activities including a wonderful two storey play house. Our meals are prepared and cooked on the premises. We aim to provide at least 2 of the " 5 a day" servings of fruit and vegetables. Mid moring and afternoon snacks are also provided.
