  • Julie's bread is hand-made in her kitchen at 'Welcombe-in' using a traditional basic recipe and yeast culture (sour dough). Using only quality flour, white, wholemeal and granary bread is available in both 450gm (standard) and 900gm (large) loaves. In case you can't chooses, try a Trilogy - all three flour-types in one loaf.The 'touch of innovation' occurs with the ingredients in Raisin' Dough special breads - fresh herbs grown in Welcombe, cheese, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh garlic or Belgian chocolate. In addition there is bread pudding and it's very savoury cheese counterpart or you might like to try smoked mackerel and cream cheese loaf for a special occasion.Julie's bread is always available at 'Welcombe-in', and is often at local produce markets - of course, if you stay with us, you'll be served with hot bread to accompany your breakfast.Bread-making courses are also available - contact Julie for full details.
