  • Sky Cottage is in the heart of the village of Golant by Fowey. It is the perfect haven for exploring the Cornish Coast, being only 10 minutes from the Eden Project.The cottage is beatifully decorated, only renovated in 2004.The oak stable door leads from the suntrap patio into the gorgeous open plan lounge/dining area/kitchen. There is a smart and comfortable leather sofa, multifuel burning stove with first basket of logs provided and TV with DVD and CD player. The dining table seats a romantic twosome! The compact kitchen is modern with oak worktops.The winding cottage stairs leads to a pretty twinkle light filled bedroom with Queen sized double 'Gothic' Bed. The view across the rooftops is of the River Fowey and surrounding hills. Towels and bed linen are provided as is all electricity. There is TV with video in the bedroom. The bathroom is modern with large 3 speed shower with spacious cubicle, a toilet and washbasin. Parking in the village is about 300 meters away, downhill at the quayside, or in one of the many spots around the village where there is room. The pub, The Fishermans Arms is a 200 metre walk, uphill on the way back so always a good nights sleep follows! There are many local attractions and beaches within a 15 minute drive.
