  • Calderbank Country Lodge is a hidden gem on the edge of the Forest of Bowland. This Georgian property was once the family home for the owners of Oakenclough Paper Mill.Now a restaurant offering traditional English food using local produce, Calderbank is proving popular with both locals and tourists. The bar has a full licence and is therefore open to those people that wish to have a quiet drink in pleasant surroundings but may not require a meal. Traditional cask ales are available.Walkers and cyclists are welcome to call in for tea or coffee and a snack.Coaches are welcome by appointment and small functions can be catered for.The Calderbank restaurant is also available for meetings and seminars for up to twenty people.In the early part of 2005 Calderbank Country Lodge will open three fully en-suite bedrooms one of which will have a spa bath. Prices will start from �30.00 per person.
