  • Jean and John head the team at The Anchor at Oakerthorpe where you can be sure of a very warm and friendly welcome. The Bar is open 12 noon to 3.00 pm, then 6.00 pm to 11 pm weekdays and open all day from 12 noon at weekends.  We are a Free House and have a range of Beers, Lagers and Guest BeersTheDining Room is open for exceptional a la carte meals and daily specials, especially prepared by our excellent Chef, from 12 noon to 2.30 pm and 6.00 pm to around 9.30 pm weekdays and from 12 noon to about 9.30 at weekends. We use only freshly prepared seasonal vegetables, meat and fish etc and our menu also caters for vegetarians.
