  • Moorland holiday cottage for four people in a quiet location, yet only yards from Gillamoor village centre and our local country inn. Very warm and comfortable, with numerous walks from the doorstep and nearby. Built in 1766, the property was the home of the Head Gamekeeper to the Duncolm Park Estate, from whom, the present owner is a direct descendant. The owner's family have lived here continously since 1850. The cottage is spacious, attached to the owner's home and set in large lawned grounds which visitors share with the owner. There is off-road parking for two cars and secure storage for cycles. Electricity and full oil-fired central heating is included in the rental and there is an open log fire for which a charge of �2 is made per basket of logs and per bucket of coal. Linen and towels are included. Smoking is not allowed inside the cottage and, regretfully, pets cannot be accepted.
