The near by pretty villages of Symondsbury (with it?s thatched pub, the Illchester Arms), Chideock, Eype and Seatown have lovely village pubs each with a wide selection of food, ranging from traditional Pub Food to the more varied restaurant menus. The stunning landscape and beaches of West Dorset have inspired artists, writers and poets alike for many years. There is plenty to please everyone ? excellent countryside full of historical interest, a varied coastline, houses, gardens, beautiful villages and towns with a wide variety of architecture and lots more.
