Further Description
  • What is osteopathy?Osteopathy combines many different treatment techniques including soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation and neuromuscular techniques. The aim of osteopathy is to balance the joints, muscles and other soft tissues so that the body functions optimally allowing speedy recovery from injury and reduction of pain. What happens when I visit the osteopath? On your first appointment a detailed medical history will be taken. The osteopath will carry out an assessment, (you may be required to undress down to your underwear/ shorts), explain their findings and give you a diagnosis. You will then receive treatment if it is appropriate. Following appointments will involve a re-assessment and further treatment, you may also be given stretches or rehabilitation exercises to carry out at home to speed up the healing processClinics @ Thame leisure centre, Oxford Road, Thame, Cross keys house, Princess Risborough and Wesley Lane Clinic, BicesterFor information or appointments Please telephone:07789 353945Or emailpaul_bell@btinternet.com
