  • Bears & Boxesan ETC 3 DIAMOND guest house situated in a quiet lane with views over Widemouth Bay and a short walk from the spectacular South Coast Footpath. From the moment of your arrival you will be made welcome and encouraged to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the area in a home, part of which, dates back to the 17th Century. You will be offered home cooked evening meals of the highest quality in a traditional dining room. The theme of the cooking is British fayre with a colonial flare. Though not licenced for the sale of alcohol guests are welcome to bring their drink which will be prepared and served for them. There is in the sitting room a television, good quality hi-fi and when the weather is inclement a wood burning stove. For those who enjoy peace and quiet there is our "quiet" room with views to the coast, plenty of reading material, chess board and writing desk.The bedrooms all have television sets, hostess trays, are en-suite. The family suite having an adjacent private bathroom. They are all equipped with the comfort of the guest as paramount. Fluent French is spoken and a basic understanding of German.Bears and Boxes would like to be of assistance to those with special needs and welcomes telephone enquiries to discuss these.
