  • A founder member of the Tea Council Guild of Tea Shops,Bill Watkins has run the Tea Room for the past 24 years and has become noted for the high quality of the leaf teas which has earned him the Award of Excellance.Genuine home baking is is the order of the day and atempting choice of feather light scones, hand kneadedbreads and traditional English cakes are the basis of thesix set afternoon teas served from 2.30 p.m. onwards.The Tea Room opens on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday throughout the year.Children are always welcome, Guide dogs only andstrictly no smoking.The Cottage Tea Room will be found in Fennel Streetjust above the famous and much photographed Sheepwash Bridge. Car parking is available at thetop of Fennel Street.
