  • Set in arguably the prettiest village in Kent, and much loved by filmmakers the world over - 'Room with a view' is just one - the Castle Inn has centuries of experience welcoming visitors. As well as drinks and refreshments, from a bowl of soup to an informal Fireside Dinner in the heavily beamed Saloon Bar, there is also a small, very individual, Restaurant with full waiter service. Behind the inn is a beautiful vine-hung Garden, and well tended lawn and flower beds, with its own Garden Bar. We open for coffee and soft drinks at 10.30am with alcoholic drinks from 11am to 11pm - 10.30pm on Sunday. Children are welcome anywhere except the Public Bar, but we don't serve chips!
