  • F A Q’s  Q. Where does my subscription money go?A. The Trust is a charitable trust whose sole income is from membership and donations. All monies are used to maintain and improve facilities on the Well Creek. Q. Can I build a mooring outside my house?A. Yes moorings can be build outside properties but the following issues need to be considered.Ownership of Land:-If the land on the riverbank is riparian owned the owner’s permission will be required.If the land on the riverbank is part of the highway. Approval for access across the land will be required from the Highway’s Department.Middle Level Approval:- You will require MLC approval the considerations are:- 1. Will the structure impede navigation?2. The type of construction must be to MLC specification. Planning Permission:-Planning permission will be required from Kings Lynn and West Norfolk BC.Q. Do I need a licence for my boat on the Well Creek?A. Currently no licence is required on the Middle Level system but a licence will be required in the near future when the Middle Level revised bylaws are approved. You will however require a current boat safety certificate.
