  • Consultation about local mental health NHS Trust’s plans to set up and run as a Foundation Trust. Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP), the main provider of NHS mental health services in Bristol and beyond, is holding a consultation event on Friday 16 October 2009, at Southmead Community Centre, 248 Greystoke Avenue, Southmead, Bristol BS10 6BQ between 2pm and 6pm. At the event, AWP will provide information about how it will set up and run as a Foundation Trust (FT) and listen to local people’s views about its proposals and local mental health services. As a Foundation Trust, AWP will involve local people as members of the organisation.  Members will be as involved as they wish, to help influence how local mental health services might be developed.  Drop in, join in and make a difference.
