  • Little Bentley Hall Waterways & Garden Show 5th - 6th June 2010, at Little Bentley Hall at Little Bentley CO7 8SE will again be the setting for the largest Charity Garden Event in East Anglia, with the magnificent private Gardens & Waterways of Mr & Mrs Palmer-Tomkinson open to the Public for the weekend . The gardens were last open in June 2007 when over 10,000 visitors descended on this event and over £110,000 was raised for Essex Charities. As well as the Gardens their will be a Youth/Schools 'Butterfly Barrel' Competition to create a Barrel of plants that will attract friendly bugs and butterflies ( Great Bentley Primary do hope you will enter ) There will also be a Competition open to Garden Clubs.  ( Gt Bentley Horticulture Club ? ) There is an Art Exhibitions for local and Regional Artists to display and sell their works, Sworders from Sudbury will be on hand to value Antiques. Colchester Centurion Rotary Club will be running a Silent Auction throughout the weekend, and their will be up to 100 Trade Stands to visit.
