And no, I’m not looking for an invite to the wedding, but I have a fantastic travel service called the Honeymoon Bridal Registry to offer I'd like you to put me in touch with: couples who've already been living together for a long time, couples who have an exceptionally large guest list, or just couples who can't stretch to the honeymoon of their dreams. The service itself is totally free of charge, and is a hassle free way of avoiding all those unwanted wedding gifts! All I need is a name and telephone number and I can arrange a honeymoon anywhere in the world. From a Manor House in Ireland to the sun drenched Seychelles. The offers are great, as I am from the Indian Ocean Islands I can put a beautiful package together be it for 7 nights or 14 nights to either Seychelles or Mauritius or even Renuinon or Comores. So, please think on…for a honeymoon to remember, whether it’s near or far, contact Rita, your very own Personal Travel Counsellor"  REMEMBER I AM OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK, WEEKDAYS & WEEKENDS AT A TIME WHICH SUITS YOU. Newlywed couples shun the beach honeymoon Newlywed couples are choosing to disregard the traditional two-week beach honeymoon to instead take a city break, adventure holiday or cruise, a survey has suggested. Research conducted by Teletext Holidays found that 89 per cent of newlyweds in the 21st century in fact shunned the foreign beach holiday. Teletext surveyed 2,000 British honeymooners and found that 58 per cent thought the idea of a beach holiday to mark their marriage was 'passe'. When asked how they felt when surrounded by other couples, 56 per cent said that this would 'fill them with dread'. Instead, honeymooners often opted to take a city break, cruise or an adventure holiday, while 32 per cent actually opted to stay in the UK rather than going abroad. While on the break, 43 per cent of responding couples said that they wanted to have pre-planned activities to enjoy on their honeymoon. The average cost of a honeymoon now stands at a substantial £2,580 with a significant proportion of that being spent on flights at a typical cost of £1,029. Following this, the second biggest expense was accommodation with honeymooners typically spending £1,008 on a place to stay. Equally, the average honeymooning couple takes on average £922 away with them for spending on shopping, eating out, and other activities. Therefore 42 per cent of couples that responded to the survey revealed that they asked wedding guests to make a contribution to their honeymoon costs instead of giving presents.
