  • Coleorton has its own web site! This site is for you, the residents of Coleorton Parish which includes Peggs Green, Farm Town, Church Town and parts of Griffydam and Newbold as well as Coleorton Village. 72% of the households who returned the Parish Plan Questionnaire said they would like more information about what was going on in the Parish and wanted more communication with the Parish Council. This web site is one of the ways we hope to provide more information, more quickly and also to enable you to communicate your concerns and feelings to the councillors. It will also include updates on the Parish Plan Action plan. Coleorton doesn't have a village centre - it is spread over a wide area with groups of houses interspersed with fields and countryside. It's a very nice area to live in but it's sometimes difficult to feel a local identity. We hope the web site will become a centre of information about activities, events and clubs in the area, a directory for local businesses and services, a platform for people who would like to share their enthusiasm for local history, wildlife, etc. Takes a look and let us know what you think of it and what you would like to see there.
