  • Brough’s newest community venue open sits doors on Monday 14 August 2006 and is already attracting bookings. The Community Centre being built on Centurion Way is part of the £1.6 million library and customer service centre development-  the Petuaria Centre - a joint venture with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. A management committee of local residents has been formed to manage the Community Centre and they will become trustees of a registered charity. There will be a main hall, meeting room and an interview room/office for hire. Charges per three-hour session:Main Hall £32Meeting Room £22Interview Room £15.An open day will be held on Sunday 3 September, 11-3, to show what the Centre has to offer.
