  •  Sutton Poyntz Village PlanAn Initiative of the Sutton Poyntz Society Following the public meeting held on 4 Nov 2005 and discussions with Weymouth & Portland Borough Council, your committee has decided to proceed with the originally proposed Village Design Statement in the form of a Village Plan. The Village Plan will address a wider range of issues and require community-wide consultation. This will be a chance for you to influence things and have your say (good points as well as bad!) on matters such as housing, transport, access to health care, crime, the environment, conservation, leisure, recreation, village facilities etc…. Importantly, a village Community Action Plan will be prepared to feed into the Weymouth & Portland Local Development Framework and the Weymouth & Portland Community Plan. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO ACHIEVE THESE AIMS! Your contribution will be important and things to look out for over the next 5 months are: •          In April, a Questionnaire to be circulated to every household asking you for your views on community issues. •          On 25 June 2006, a Village Plan Stand at the Sutton Poyntz Street Fayre. Find out about the Plan. Tell us what you think.  •          In early July, a Village Workshop.
