Further Description
Hello from possibly the smallest Cyber-Corner-Store in Britain!I offer small runs of individually produced Greeting Cards* and Mounted Prints of historic images of England and beyond.Because of the non-standard proportions, these four rare tinted panoramic photographs of Lyme Regis - 1905 (see bottom of page) are available only as mounted prints, ready to fit a 15" x 7" frame, and they make a lovely gift. The photographs were taken with the famous (Victorian) 'Kodak Panoram' swing-lense camera (patented 1899). To give you the best possible colour-fastness, my products are real colour photographs, not colour laser colour copies or inkjet prints. These bespoke mounted and wrapped prints cost £12.99 each or £20 for two or £35 for the set of four, when purchased direct from me and as far as I am aware, I am the only known source of these rare and competitively priced images. The Greeting Cards are available in packs of ten, blank inside, with envelopes at £10 per pack + £1.00 p&p. (they cost £1.99 each in the shops). The cards are blank inside and suitable for a variety of occasions, such as ordinary greetings, birthday, get well, wedding invitations, thank-you, Christmas cards etc. I am a small, friendly photographic business (kind of Cyber-Corner-Shop) that commenced after I needed a Greeting Card made of one of my own pictures in 1995, only to learn that I had to have a minimum of 1000 cards made of one image! I aim is to produce a more realistic number of cards for people, accompanied by some traditional personal service and being contactable by dialling a single telephone number (regrettably an answerphone if I am not in).Thank you for taking the time to read my notice.David Hanks, The Studio, 35 King William Drive, Cheltenham, Glos, GL53 7RP, UK* I will also restore or convert your own photographs/paintings/pictures into cards suitable for any occasion [providing there are no copyright restraints] and subject to the usual minimum of ten cards. Simply email me your digital file or post a CD.And finally - isn't 'UKVillages' the most brilliant website in Britain today? We certainly think so.
