  •  VALE VISION COMMUNITY PROJECTVale Vision are a community group who were funded out of the Market & Coastal Towns initiative to consult the community, carry out a 'health check' (current statistics) and write a community plan for the next 10 years. Projects were included to action some of the issues raised from the health check.  The Vale Vision area includes Cam, Dursley, Stinchcombe, Uley, Coaley, Slimbridge, Owlpen and Nympsfield.With some 40 projects in the plan for economic development, for development of training to match job opportunities, Town Centre, Tourism, Community, Education, Sport and Leisure, Entertainment, Environment, it has a great deal of work to do over the next few years and beyond.  It has prioritised projects and is now developing bids for funding for some 6 major projects. It is very much a community based project and relies on volunteers.
