  • Villages in Action is a rural touring scheme which helps to bring top quality professional performances to local communities at affordable prices.If you would like to help bring a performance to your village hall then you are urged to get in touch with the Village in Action organisers. The scheme enables interested local people to promote fully professional arts events in their local hall at a very heavily subsidised price. It really does offer a win-win opportunity. As well as giving local people a chance to see top quality performances, it is easy to make a profit for the village hall too. Events can be suited both to the very young, the mature, and those between! When you book an event through Villages in Action you get plenty of support and advice. The acts really are excellent. They can comprise music (both popular and classic), theatre companies, dance groups, and puppeteers. The fees are very low ? typically around �120 to �140. Pre-printed tickets, posters and handbills are provided as well and are all included in the service. Ticket prices will be set ? with advice from VIA ? at a level which is realistic.
