Village Hall Noticeboard:- Notices may be displayed on the noticeboard at a charge of �1 per month. If you have a business to promote, items for sale, event to advertise etc. please see a Committee Member to arrange insertion on the board.Grey Garden Refuse Sacks:- Can now be purchased at the Village Hall at the Farmers Market or the Thursday Community Afternoon, at 32p each. Drink Can Recycling: Please take your DRINK CANS to the village hall (they are being recycled and at the same time help us raise funds) and NOT place them in the D.D.C. black boxes, with our grateful thanks. Forthcoming EventsFarmers Market Every Tuesday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. where an average of 20 stalls each week, provide local produce and crafts in the village hall and car park.. Winner of the Best Farmers Market in Kent 2004 Award and also winner of the Kent Technology Enterprise Award 2004. Watcg out for more new stalls! A request please:- could consideration please be given when parking in Lancaster Avenue on Market days. Please do not park on the pavements and/or near the junctions of Beatrice and Victoria Road. This is a safety measure before an accident occurs (we have had a few ?near misses?). Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.Boot Fairs:- . We hope you will support us by purchasing these quizzes as all proceeds will go towards a new kitchen for our hallCommunity Afternoon & Book/Video/Jigsaw Rental INCLUDING ADICE SURGERIES ..These social afternoons are held every Thursday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm. . Come and meet your friends or make new ones, over a cup of tea. All ages welcome. Would you be interested in learning to play ?Bridge? If so, please let us know.
