  • Thanks for looking at our notice. There are many villagers who are becoming increasingly concerned regarding the manner of some drivers who travell through our village at what we regard as 'high speed'. Our village has few pavements and very little street lighting, we like it that way. The issues here is that drivers should respect our village and those who live here. Please slow down as you travel through our village. Those considered driving at excessive speed will have their index numbers taken down and reported to the Police. We anticipate police speed checks to be more frequent in the near future and therefore post this advance warning. No one wants to prosecute drivers, but we will, if they do not slow down. Thank you.
