  •  Do YOU live near Dukes Quarry? Are you interested in becoming involved in conservation projects, training courses and educational activities? BTCV could help you organise and fund conservation projects the Dukes Quarry area. BTCV can help you by launch conservation projects in areas that have been affected by the aggregates industry. We would like to get the local community involved in taking care of this beautiful site. We can:  Help you plan task days involving activities like coppicing, dead-hedging and footpath improvement.  Help you organise fun community events like guided walks, nature trails and scavenger hunts.  Set up day long Training Courses that will cover a whole range of countryside crafts such as, hurdle-making, Tree and Flower ID, willow-weaving and fencing.  Provide any tools and equipment needed for your projects.
