Further Description
Do you have air conditioners at home or are you planning to buy any? Do you want to know your air conditioners and their future in the UK?How efficient it works? What is the benefit it brings? How others use air conditioners? What is the air conditioner' impact to the environment?I am one of the member a University College London domestic air conditioning research team devoting to understand these issues in both a local and broad context. The research project aims to understand what is the motivation of people buying air conditioners for their home, what is the typical temperature that an air conditioner is turned on at home, what is the energy efficiency of the air conditioners, what kind of thermal comfort the air conditioners bring to home, etc. To achieve the objectives, the project needs the research team to survey those homes with air conditioning installed. Without support and participation from residents like you, our research will not be possible. So, if you have air condtioners at home, or you are intending to buy one this summer, please contact us by email (juanchun.he@ucl.ac.uk) or telephone (02076795963, 07795383069)) or text to mobile (077953 83069) and take part in our survey. We respect your privacy and the information and data collected from you will be subject to the strict confidentiality safeguards of the Data Protection Act and the material drawn from the record will be only in the form of statistic tabulations. Unless with permission from you, no householders will be identifiable. Please help us understand the use and impacts of air condtioniners at residential homes in Britain by taking part in our survey. Should you have further enquiries, please contact your research officer: Maggie He. Many Thanks.
