Subjects include complete computer beginners, using a computer, picture editing, email and internet, word processing, spreadsheets, computer art and desktop publishing. Some courses are free, others require a small fee and concessions are available to the over 60s and those on benefits. Some courses also enable students to gain an Oxford Cambridge recognised qualification from the NEW CLAIT module or full IT Users certificate.Interested? Pop into one of the above libraries or contact the Community Learning Service on 01472 323540.Don't want to do a course but just use a computer? Anyone wishing to book a computer should contact the library - the first half hour is free and it is 50 pence for every half hour thereafter.
