  • Carharrack Parish Council has now completed it's submission to the Environment Agency regarding the application by County Environmental Services for a licence regarding The Pollution Prevention and Control (England and Wales) Regulations 2000 (SI 2000 No. 1973), as ammended (the PPC Regulations); The Landfill (England and Wales) Regulations 2002, (SI 2002 No.1559).The parish council sees this as an opportunity to raise objections to this application on behalf of the village as part of the strategy to prevent the extension of this unlined landfill site which has caused much consternation not only in our village but surrounding villages as well.Please read the attached document. You will notice that this document links with the submission relating to the MSW Waste Transfer Station application in particular statements which appear to assume that the PPC icence will be granted!
