  •  NOTICE is given that although headstones and memorials remain at all times the property and responsibility of their owners the Parish Council will keep the condition of these structures under review and take action under its statutory powers where it considers maintenance or remedial works are necessary for safety reasons.   The Parish Council has arranged for any necessary repairs to be carried out during week commencing 3 November 2003. The Parish Council will seek to recover the cost of such works from the owners. Owners are urged to regularly check and where necessary repair their headstones and memorials and also register their contact details with the Clerk so the Parish Council can keep them directly informed.  If you have questions concerning this Notice please contact the Clerk at the above address.  ???????????.Clerk for and on behalf ofDeeping St James Parish Council9 October 2003
