  • After a particularly disturbing experience yesterday, I am trying to find out some information on some woodland & adjoining field between The Ringlestone Inn and Doddington, There is a public footpath that goes through the wood, across the road the there is a footpath signposted pointing up the hill but the footpath leads to nowhere but a barbed wire fence. There is a white rubble track running SW through the field into more woodland, in the corner of the field next to the road there is an old knarled tree which has had its upper branches cut off. In this field resting after a walk through the wood on the other side of the road, myself and my partner both had a horrible sense of being watched, and a strong sense of hate and anger, it made us feel very tense and uncomfortable, we felt that we had to leave as quickly as possible, the feeling was very oppressive and made us feel quite weak, and even after we left there was a feeling of great sadness that lingered with me for a long time. I would like to know if something terrible had happened in that field at sometime in the past, and if anyone else has also had a similar experience. I would be very grateful for any assistance you can give in this matter. Thank you
