  • In October 2005 it was 50 years since English Country dancing started in Adlington CheshireThe current club now called Adlington Folk Dance Club celebrated with many past members.The club is still very popular, meeting every Wednesday in the Village hall, new members are welcome, ring for more information.As well as the weekly meeting, a section exists called The Adlington Folk Dancers, who give performances of 17th and 18th century English dances in period costume.please contactReg Battle, (01625-875309), 19 Deva Close, SK12 1HH.
