  • My name is Garth Barnard and I am an amateur researcher researching all aspects of WWII aviation within a 15 mile radius of Brackley, Northamptonshire.My main areas of interest are aircraft losses, aerodromes & aerodrome architecture and bombing ranges.I would be very keen to talk to anyone with any information regarding WWII aviation, in particular the former bombing range North East of the Village of Preston capes, and also any aircraft losses in the area. (I must stress that I have no desire to excavate any crashed aircraft)I am reliant on local knowledge as records at the Public Records Office do not contain the detailed information that I require.Garth Barnard.
