  • The reunion last year although lower in attendance was still a success. Sadly the main building is now being developed into up-market flats and there is scaffolding all around the building therefore not a pretty sight. The New Scout Hut in which we meet is only a short distance from the school, which is handy if you wish to visit and look from the outside.We welcomed some first time visitors this year, Ivan and Gossy Snow and Frank Cooke who is one of our younger members from the 60s Goldings years. Frank has offered to give some of his time in the organizing of the reunions for the next few years with the assistance of John Hunt in the background. This is good news for the future of the reunions as John and myself are getting older and we need some new blood to help with the reunions..The other good news is that Frank has created a web site www.goldonian.org, which has a lot of information and memories of Goldings and it, will keep you up to date with news as it is supplied to him. Should you have any information to give him concerning your time at Goldings or some old photos, do send it or bring it along on the day, which can be copied, to the computers we will have on the day as it all adds to our history of Goldings.
