  • WORTHINGTON YOUTH CLUBThe Youth Club, for 7 - 12 year olds, was started 8 to 9 years ago.by a group of parents / helpers. Initally it was run by volunteers, however this was not entirely successful. A successful bid was put in for Lottery funding to fund a paid Youth Worker & Assistant Worker. The MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE consists of One parent, Two villagers, Leader & Assistant Leader and two Young members.Each Friday between 6 & 7.30 some 20 - 30 members participate. WE ARE STILL SEEKING SOMEONE PLEASE, PLEASE GIVE A FEW HOURS OF YOUR TIME WANTED If we are unable to secure more funding the Youth Club will fold this Autumn. Adults wanted to complete Lottery AWARDS FOR ALL application, & application forms for becoming a REGISTERED CHARITY.Also help would be appreciated on the Management Committee. This involves 1 meeting per term, approx 1 hour.PLEASE, PLEASE, try and help.
