  • I am engaged in researching my family history, and have just discovered that Mark Mott (1624-1667) was Rector of Great Wratting from 1660 until 1662, when (along with almost 2000 other clergy) he was "ejected" as a result of the Act of Uniformity. I am interested in finding out anything I can about Great Wratting in the mid 17th century, about Mark Mott's short time as Rector there, and what he did after 1662.
